John grew up in Baltimore, graduated top of his class from Cardinal Gibbons High School, and attended JMU for Business and English. He served 6 years with the MDARNG Airborne Unit (and still cannot kick the habit of rising early) before selling his first startup business in 2016, where he helped over 1500 people quit smoking.
